Those are great pics Daniel! Lucky you have the nice blue skies where you are. I have smog and sometimes, but very rarely, blue skies where I am .

Colin, is your monitor calibrated?
I'm finding your blues to be a little strong. Perhaps that is the intention, but I find it a little distracting particularly in the second photo
Good compositions though. Nice place in cancun. What resort is that?

The monitor is fine, it's Colin's eyes that need calibrating But then, that's what happens when you're looking at life through a Corona bottle

Straight out of camera! Seriously no joke!
This was my trip back in Jan to Tofino. I'm still without a computer so I can't even finish editing my Belize/Guatemala pictures. Borrow my friends laptop to check these out. I was so happy I just uploaded them right away!
I have no idea how well his laptop monitor is calibrated, all I can say is laptop monitors have a shit load of surrounding reflections! |

ninjatune: nice dog pics! First one makes me think of that stupid "New Age Girl" song - "She don't eat meat (but she sure like the bone" Second one looks like the dog's trying to do the '50s pin-up girl pose
Ed: cool hockey shots, could really use a faster shutter though. The blurred skates in the last one are wicked, but the overall motion blur makes them too soft. I find for this kind of shot, you're better to jack the ISO a stop, and the shutter along with it - noise is easier to clean up than motion blur Awesome capture on the goalie in the first one!

What do you guys use to clean noise?
Also consider that this isn't GM Place...it's the Richmond Ice Center, which has shit for lighting.
