Tom, I was going through those photos and though that the post processing was very unique :) Good job!

About those three photos you posted above; I hate to say it, but the way you sequenced them makes it look like the best man was making out with the bride :p

ColinK 06-25-2008 11:06 PM

I wasn't thinking about the sequence, all I knew was he had to be in the pictures. The guy was so funny!
I asked him to give me the thumbs up when he was done signing, and he did :haha:

ooooo very nice Tom! Looking at your flickr now.

Have you tried doing a low vibrancy or saturation version of the last photo? It might look cool because there's not much color other than the blue sky.

I haven't tried. I think the colours are what bring out the punch.
Thanks for helping with the flash Denny ;)

^ You wouldn't happen to work for the gov't would you? :)

Tom: You know I'm a fan of your work so I don't really have anything to say. Love the processing as always!

Thank you, glad you like them. Hope to keep shooting like this if not better!
When I look at it now, I wish I fixed up her dress a little.

This picture was taken at Stanley Park where the lighthouse is

A small break in the chaos. Here are some new ones! Nice edits Tom... although I agree with Denny about the over saturation on Ada's last photo. She's turned a funny orange...

^^ not bad :) #1 would've looked better if you cropped so the power pole on the right doesn't show, and maybe even the log (?) on the bottom left. Power pole for sure tho.

im interested in how you photoshopped the background in, it looks like u flipped the ground horrizontally and then copy pasted, but is the background a stack of lined papers? the white glow around her butt makes me think the upper part of the ground was flipped and squeezed

that is some crazy mad editting

and cool colors, or lack of i mean

giving some mad respect back <3

GFunk 06-27-2008 02:09 AM

busted haha

it was vertically shot but i thought it'd be better suited landscape so I copy and pasted a piece, flipped it horizontally so that the colors line up better and repeated until I got the aspect ratio correct. Then I blended it with a soft eraser and as well as some dodging/burning til it blended correctly. Now that I look at it, I should clone out bits of the ground that reveals the repeats. The glow around the butt (and the upper body) was just a result of messy post processing

The wall itself is actually a garage door sharpened and cleaned up. That double line where it meets the ground is garage liner
