Good ol photobucket edit can take care of that in a few seconds, don't even have to reupload... haha i swear if it wasn't free i'd still pay for that one.
edit:
good tips, it does look better -- the log is still visible lol lazy crop job

Took the liberty of a little crop, a little straightening, a bit more contrast, a hair more saturation, a touch of graduated tint to darken the sky a smidge, and finally a click of the Sharpen button... all using Picasa. Unfortunately with all of LCV's changes, and then mine on top, the JPEG mottling is getting a bit nasty, but you *yok yok* get the picture:

Get a case yo. London drugs has a crazy choice of cases. I got a leather Roots case, with a magnet clip + swiveling belt clip = $21. I like to keep my shizzles mint.

Taken today at the Diez Vistas trail @ Buntzen Lake. It was a pretty long hike especially in this hot weather.

I need to start posting again...I have 6 months worth of photoshoots. Haha.. Some I can't post due to client confidentiality like the nudes, but I'll show them on my laptop monitor at a meet.

Saw the BC Hydro guy removing all the "trail closed" signs. If you went two days earlier, you would have had to walk around.
Did you like it? I was pretty disappointed. The reviews were all good but when I got there all the viewpoints were blocked by the grown trees.

A few weeks ago I went there to just try out the regular Buntzen Lake trail and found that the floating bridge was closed. We took our chances yesterday to see if the bridge was fixed, and it was!
And you're right, the "vistas" are more like views of trees. Not much to see. But at least you've got something to aim for when you're hiking from vista to vista. The only good one was vista 1, but that was pretty much it.

more spam -- today's shot: | Lower Case, stop posting so much spam! . Haha. It's awesome you love shooting so much. A few suggestions though. What did you find so captivating about the picture you took? Is there a focal point, main point of interest, in the photo? Think of a way to photograph it in a not so ordinary manner. Anyone with your same level will have photographed it the same way. Try different angles but don't go to the extent of taking the photo at 45 degrees or something, rather different perspectives.
After taking all those shots try to narrow it down to your best one or two during the day, the ones you are really happy with. I think this way you'll get more out of it . If you're posting spam then you can't really be that proud of it. The next photo you see I don't want to see the word "spam" beside it or any word; I want to say "wow" .
Keep shooting man.
