The one with your son is another classic lol. But remember the rule of thirds (although u followed it in this picture, your close to putting him in the center) the subject shouldnt be dead center The one with the sunset is really nice, awesome colours |

2 of my friends got married yesterday. I wasn't the photographer, nor did I want to be, but here are a couple of the shots I got strobist on the first two. vivitar 285hv handheld at 1/4 camera left http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/1381/img4153ep9.jpg http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/3...50smallsj8.jpg http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/9176/img4266or7.jpg |
Hey mc25 thanks for the comments. lens is a nikon 18-55 stock kit lens that came with my d60. |
Deo, awesome shots! |
Colin, pretty good on balancing the sunlight + shadows. It's pretty tough when you have a full manual flash isn't it :) |
omg! tell me about it! The worst part was the fstop hoping all over the place, sometimes the flash would be super bright or super dark. Oh well, all the more exciting :P |

I like the 3rd picture Colin, good job! |
Thanks for the comments. This was my second "portrait" shoot. All in all I think it went well. I think I learnt a lot. Biggest problem was nasty shadows and figuring out where the heck they were actually coming from opposed to where they appeared to be coming from :) |
Love the shots Colin! DL, nice batch with your new lens :). |
Thanks Mike! And very very nice shots Colin! What camera do you shoot with? And one more random shot... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3159/...1baee33e_b.jpg dL |
