10GB of RAW images. Just downloaded today :). Gonna edit the photos while sitting around the Tokyo airport tomorrow. Here's two simple shots. Siem Reap is amazing! The vignetting is from my stacked filters :(.

You coming here to Tokyo or are you just connecting there on your way home?

By the time we safely came to a stop bambi was too far back, the driver behind us said it went off to the side. I don't know whether that means it ran off or it flew off and died. Regardless, I think it must have at least been hurt because the impact was pretty strong.

That lancer is a beast, it managed to go another 350 km's despite the accident

No, took the long weekend + a day off to drive down the coast and then detour east to crater lake. I have a couple more pictures I should edit

Here's another!
I didn't stay around very long because I had a very long 10hour / 1000km drive back the same day, so I was stuck with only a couple angles.

I love this one. The haze lends a certain off-handed epicness to the whole thing.

Crater Lake is an amazing place, last time I was there it was hazed in like this from a big fire near Medford.

One day I'd love to take a couple weeks and do a camping/photo tour of the Cascade volcanoes. If you've never been to Mt. St. Helens, don't waste any time in getting there. It's an unreal, unbelievable place - even 28+ years later, it's still a wasteland when you view it from a distance. Standing on the edge of Johnston Ridge looking right into the throat of the mountain just a few miles away is an unearthly feeling.

Domani 07-21-2008 10:25 PM

crazy pics in the last couple of pages.

ColinK 07-21-2008 11:00 PM

lovin' the crater lake pics! :)

K-Dub 07-21-2008 11:19 PM

The water in Crater Lake....oh so clear and frigging freezing!
I really suggest you go on the cruise in the lake, they take you around, take you close to the Wizard island (I think it's called that...the island in the middle)..the Old Man stump (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Man_of_the_Lake)
When I went, it was late August so there was no snow left.

Soundy- I agree, Mt. St. Helens is breathtaking. Even now that little bump still lets off some smoke.

Oh neat, didn't read about that.
Yes it's called Wizard island and the smallest one is called Phantom ship.
The boat was closed so I never went, oh well :(

Thanks for all the comments guys! Really wish I had more time to kill, but it was going to be a long 10 hour drive back
