It means it is a little underexposed by and you need a little longer shutter or a little lower aperature. I am pretty sure thats what he means anyway.

One "stop" in photography refers to a doubling or halving of the exposure. Going from 1/500 shutter to 1/250 or 1/1000 is a change of one full stop up or down (brighter or darker). Each full step of aperture is a stop as well: f/2 - f/2.8 - f/4 - f/5.6 - f/8 - f/11 - f/16 - etc. (notice how the number doubles every TWO stops).

Yup I went all the way up. It was hot as hell that day, like 32 degrees plus humidity. But once you get up the mountain, it is about 1 or 2 degrees cooler! I wore a dry-fit shirt and board shorts, so I remained cool and comfortable, even though I looked like a douche. I also made sure to stop and have lots of drinks - damn the vending machines are expensive on that mountain!

First time actually trying out the reverse lens technique. I think it turned out pretty good. The second one is out of focus, but it's hard when you have to move in and out to focus.
This cost me nothing. Just used my 1.4/50mm

Were you just holding it in front? or did you get your adapter already?

Looks nice and sharp, whats the black stuff on the bottom right side of the first pic?

I haven't bought the rev adapter yet, just held it for now.

I'm going to say magnified ultra small sensor dust. Looks like I might need a sensor wipe soon. I totally missed that!

A rare opportunity to see this particular bottle of liquor. Smelled so good.

This is straight off the camera and sized down. No editing or exposure corrections.

No...

My own company policy prevents me to do so... I wanted to try it SOOOO bad. Sigh... I'll probably never get my hands on it. I was told only 110 bottles were ever made. The whiskey is from the original distillery when it burned down. It poured out like syrup and smelled exquisite...

Darn my company policy... <sigh> I should make an amendment for special liquors...

^Film? I would've stepped back a bit on the 2nd shot to give more clearance for the top of the bridge.

Not film, d300 can't remeber which lens I was using. I tried backing up, but there is some ugly stuff right under were the shot ends on the bottom. I guess I could've looked up a little higher....hind sights a bitch.
