The edit makes the photo look more soft overall, keep up the good work!

I'm not to sure exactly what pinting with light is like in photoshop. I don't think I've ever done it unless it was called something different. I'm taking the course part time, so if you're working you can always check out their night or weekend classes. I think they start at 6:30pm at night, and 10am on Saturdays (Level 1) and 2pm (Level 2). :)

Thanks again! :)

I'm enjoying the lighting, but the fingers bother me!

hehe thx, he doesnt smoke, so he doesnt know how to hold it properly :) thats my guess, I took a total of 6 shots that day, I was there helping a friend out with her shoot, she provided the model, the space, the concept. I provided my camera, lighting, and knowledge :)

What do you guys think?

I saw this shot in the other thread, I didn't realize that you had done so much PS. Awesome! I wish I new how to do that kind of editing!

niforpix 01-18-2009 08:20 PM

Thank you! It just takes a lot of playing around with photoshop. It's definately time consuming, but if you like that kind of thing, then you don't even realize how fast the time flys by. I just started my level 2 photoshop class so doing that definately helps :)

We were hoping an eagle would swoop down and eat this scruffy fur ball, as there weren't too many eagles out today and we needed a little excitement. The lady that owned the dog has a goatee similar to the dog's...that old saying about dogs and their owners looking alike is true!

On the way back we stopped a bit at Cypress to look at the fog. That's downtown and the big building is Shangrila, as seen with a 500mm f4. Stiched from 2 images.
