^^ The iPod and the highlight on the phone are too blown out. Otherwise a nice shot. :)

Thanks, using a higher quality film/ developer and more experience I may try it again.

That's a film shot? What film/developer did you use? You could always burn in detail, assuming you have detail in the neg. Did you expose for the shadows and develop for the highlights? That way you'd get an amazing range of tones that you can work with in the darkroom or post processing a scanned neg.

...unless you shot transparency, then my above post is worthless. :)

are you processing the film and prints your self?

if so, you could always dodge the phone and ipod a bit...

Burn. Dodging will blow it out even more.

Raid3n 02-25-2009 09:37 PM

i think i may have remembered the process backwards lol. its been about 5 years since i did any film processing...

more time exposed = more blaring white? or the other way around?

Thanks Jason! This was kind of hard and it took me a while. I was using bouncing the flash off of the ceiling so couple shots had different exposures just by a tiny bit, so it took a while to get the shadows right. :)

In my opinion all great photography and art evokes an emotional response of some sort, and by that standard, this is fantastic.
