Just got my camera a few weeks ago and this is one of the first photos I took. Had to take it quickly so I missed part of his head.

The Moon shot was cropped in quite a bit, but the 400mm f2.8 is so sharp there's detail to spare.

That last shot would be amazing, but for the dead space on the right. I find the image is a bit unbalanced because the couple is dead centre, and they take up too little space in the frame: I would have cropped in more. The sunset would be better if it were under-exposed a bit more to make it more dramatic and colourful, but hindsight is 20-20. I'm sure the couple was happy with the shot though.

Great shot... but actually, it's not Venus moving, it's the fact that the moon's position in the sky changes so much day-to-day.

thanx, and i agree. it was sunrise actually, at 5:30am last day of the trip and coincedentally last shot of the trip... i was tired as hell i'll see if i can re-edit it to bring out some more color and crop.

no, it was venus moving at half a second exposure while the moon was perfectly sharp i was getting motion blur from venus. shot on a tripod with shutter release.

My attempt from last night... Nowhere near as awesome as Senna's, but then again, I don't have access to all the kick-ass gear that he does

I really like the last one except that there is a little piece showing on the left and a little piece cut off on the right. Otherwise a great shot

Exactly what I was thinking. Last pictures the best, but you cut off two bells.

Nikon D300 + 400mm f2.8 VR + 2x TC. Exposure: 1/400 sec, f5.6, 200 ISO.

I wanted to take this last night when the Moon was full. Tonight it had 97% coverage and I also lost sharpness due to the TC.

Ok, that's just sick... Even with the TC your image is so much sharper than mine...

So I learned today how to zoom in on objects that are behind and blur everything else. Pretty cool haha.

Next thing to do is taking pictures of animals, moving objects, and people.

Left: Pretty cool
Right: Don't really know where to focus, the image is too "busy"

Right one..I thought it looked cool haha. It's supposed to be focusing on the plant that's somewhat hidden by the leaves of the one in front.

I try to do that but it's hit and miss on my camera. at least for me.

I like your left shot better, the right shot takes too long to realise there actually is something in focus
