I can't remember).

Was at Vanier Park yesterday...took a few pics while I was waiting to meet up with a few folks.
I wasn't completely impressed with the pics I took. The one above is probably the best that I had. I think it seems kind of "busy"...too many flowers and branches everywhere. The other one I had didn't have enough so it looked really sparse. Also took some other pics of the flowers there but they didn't come out that great so wasn't worth posting.
Hoping to get more time this weekend to go out and get some more practice with the camera.

Here are a couple more from the same day.
syee:
I found the same thing when i went shooting cherry blossoms for the first time this season. The pictures either looked really busy or the blossoms were too sparse. Try isolating a few branches of blossoms with a contrasty background - either with the blue sky or a really blurry background like the one I posted above.
Anyone else have some tips?

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll give that a try next time I'm out shooting the cherry blossoms. Looks like the weather may not co-operate this weekend, so it may have to wait another week... |

Does this work?
I call it "Contradiction". I know the metal in the centre is distracting.
