Colin: First photograph you cut off their hands in a bad place. As well, a general rule (not ALWAYS the case) I never recommend interlocking fingers as it looks messy.
Second one I would have moved the flash higher up (maybe another foot) and brought it over towards you a little more. The spill of light highlights the groom more than the bride and takes away from her. I probably would have gotten the groom to turn his palm down to minimize the size of his hands
The third one the framing is good, but you may want the girl to put her hand higher on his shoulder. It does 2 things: One is it makes her arm look more elegant and slimmer and 2 it will naturally cause a curl in her hand that will make her look more at ease.
Good work! Keep it up!

shot of the gf i did for fun. dont have my lighting gear here with me so i used my 580ex2+430ex combo triggered with cactus v4 on camera axis shot through my grandma's white bed sheet haha. unedited except for bw preset in lightroom. you can see my reflection and the lightsource in her eyes. My positioning actually created a huge ring flash light source.

Nice pictures! I went to Suzhou in May. Pretty awesome Architectures of New and Old city. Apparently Suzhou is famous for beautiful women and indeed it was (only at night).

f1.8? | Thanks, I was trying to see which angle worked well and arrived at this one after 2-3 takes :S Still learning. I was actually trying to see if I could cut out more of the petals for a kind of bordered effect but I see what you mean. This was shot at f1.4.
