dont see no shooting stars but static stars are nice too.

what kinda lens/settings did you use?

My daily photo: 5D MKII @ 6400 ISO vs my 40D @ 3200 ISO (100% crop I believe - it's late for me... lol) :D

Borrowed 5D MKII from work so I can compare it to my 40D. I knew that is would obviously have less noise than my 40D, but this was crazy!

soundy got most of the info out of the jpg, but more specifically its a pentax fisheye. the meteor is very small in the first one, it looks like a scratch.



the noise at 6400 on that 5d is pretty amazing. is noise reduction turned on?

Nice shot Matsuda! I like the lights along the bridge thats cool! I'd change up the white balance a little bit to make it less yellow. I hope you shot in RAW!
