Nice pics RCubed, very surreal. I normally don't like highly photoshopped pics, but those have a different feel to them.
You guys have such nice scenery to take pictures of out there in Vancouver! Everything around here looks so dead and drab most of the year unless you go to the vineyards and orchards, and you can only take so many pics of those before you get bored.

It's much, much better. The build quality beats 17-85 by far. This lens is definately worth the money.

I've never used the 17-55, but buddy at work (who knows anything and everything when it comes to DSLRs, etc), says that this lens is super sharp, sharper than his 24mm F1.4 L. He even bought the lens himself. And this is a guy who uses mainly primes and has been doing this for ages. So that tells you something about the lens
