so.. was on a work trip in montreal - didn't have my SLR with me so I had to use one of those little Canon point-and-shoots. I'm okay with the results given the equipment used

La basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal - interior

the first thought I had when I walked in was "gosh darn it I wish I had my wide-angle lens + SLR with me". oh well.

If I'm not mistaken, it's the oldest church in Canada - something like 400 years old? It's definitely one of the spots to visit if you happened to be in Montreal.

Did you grow up in the 1950's? No one says, "Gosh darn it" anymore!

It's been a long time since I last posted photos. I did a shoot for an up and coming band this week. They wanted me to do the shoot on film, so I got my Rolleiflex, some lights and had a go at it. These are the digital test shots, post processed for fun.

Old meets new! Made in 1959 Rolleiflex 3.5E + Pocketwizard + Profoto AcuteB 600 = Fun!

I hope the people in the condo complex across the alley didn't mind our impromptu unplugged jam session. Notice the broken cymbal....we may have been a bit loud. Haha...

Some variations of the same shot. Trying to go for the faded 1960/70's era high ISO colour film look. Thoughts?
