What the above said... also this one can be changed around with simple adjustment of contrast and light balance. But obviously better to do it correctly right from the camera.

That's pretty amazing that you could edit it like that. Makes me wonder what my photo's "Could" look like if I had a bit more computer skills.

Nice shots from the game kardboard, did you have any issues bringing your camera inside GM Place? I was told you couldn't bring DSLRs inside?

Thanks!

Allowed, lenses have to be below 75mm. Security saw I had a 28-105 as well as my 50, but just told me about the restriction and let me through. The previous game I went to they didn't even mention that and just let me through with my 28-105.

hud91gt, it's better to spend extra 5-10 minutes setting up the shot, then 2 hours in photoshop trying to correct your mistakes.

The photos are generally a bit dark for my tastes, and they may look better if you had white balanced to tungsten light. Also, you tend to have a lot of empty foreground space, so you may want to crop in a bit.

Ah, I have a few shots that are brighter but....to me...they seem mega bright! As for the WB, they are set to tungsten already. Will learn to crop properly Thanks

Did an impromptu photo shoot with a local actor/comedian. He was in character as an old sea dog, based on Captain Haddock of the Tintin comics. It was a fun shoot, and only lasted about 90 minutes.

I added the smoke later in post.

The crew. Lighting was a Hensel Porty 12, a 1200w/s lithium-ion battery generator kit along with 2 heads, a medium softbox and a beauty dish. It provides 230 full power pops from a small, lightweight user changeable battery!
