Mananetwork 06-29-2006 09:11 AM

dennis your taken, pass em over to me :D

Rdk1 06-29-2006 09:38 AM

hey! you, shush. there's something call a photoshoot, so the pose was on purpose....one big idiot. >=|

Rdk1 06-29-2006 09:39 AM

bastards...i post it here for you guys to talk about the pictures..not about the girls damnit.

Rdk1 06-29-2006 09:40 AM

oh and yeah, one more of these stupid comments and i might as well just take the picture down.

Mananetwork 06-29-2006 09:45 AM

we kid, we kid

What camera did you use? It seems a bit out of focus and the contrasts are kind of bland

Rdk1 06-29-2006 10:13 AM

the blur on the background is on purpose. the picture of course i did some touch ups on photoshop afterwards...
my camera..casio exilim ex-s500.
nothing pro; but it's handy.

Mananetwork 06-29-2006 10:16 AM

^ Yes I know the background is purposely blurred, but I’m talking about them. It doesn't look like their faces are in focus much

dub.dub 06-29-2006 10:18 AM

Wow, calm down. I am stating that they are posers and that is a problem? I'm stating an obvious fact as you said they are posing for the camera.

Anyhow, I feel that the background is too busy with the trees and cars. Try to avoid that.

Rdk1 06-29-2006 10:19 AM

hmmm, i don't see any blur on their faces. but maybe that's because of the position of their faces. since their faces are not near the centre of the picture...

Rdk1 06-29-2006 10:23 AM

well, there are many meanings in poser; but lets not get into that. i want to pay more attention to the photo.
as of the background, i completely understand what you mean as i already did take some few things away through photoshop. at least the most color contrasting objects i took away.
the cars are a major problem though. i will take some better ones next time i go out with them.

Ducdesmo 06-29-2006 10:25 AM

hmm looks like a regular snapshot to me. I think the crop is too tight tho and the colors are a bit flat.

Rdk1 06-29-2006 10:33 AM

of course, i don't have one of those crazy cameras with those 10 feet coloured posters as a background to take a completely outragous shot.
as of the crop being too tight, i tried to get as much focus on the girls as possible, there were a lot of distractions at that beach that day -_-; but yes, colors can definately be a little warmer. i tried to add a touch of yellow and orange to it to give it a warmer feeling. maybe i'll add a little more intensity to it then.

It doesn't matter if their faces are in the corner, as long as it's perpedicular to the camera sensor it should turn out sharp. I think the auto focus calculated the front of her elbow inturn making the face a bit soft

Rdk1 06-29-2006 10:37 AM

that i dont' know what i can do to it other than getting a better camera with an actual lense that i can manually adjust my depth of field

Rdk1 06-29-2006 10:38 AM

aight i see.

MikesJo 06-29-2006 01:14 PM

The girl on the left seems to be trying to hard, the one on the right looks more natural and relaxed. Good start :). Did you try focusing on one of them and then recomposing? It is a bit out of focus.

Rdk1 06-29-2006 02:10 PM

no no no as said before...the focus is because of my damn camera. i don't get to do the manuel focus cuz it's just a compact.
i'll be getting a better one soon.

Does this mean your cameras broken, or your cameras fault that it didn't focus properly??

Rdk1 06-29-2006 04:25 PM

well, as i said, it's on auto focus, i don't exactly know what i can do with it to change the focus of it when i take the picture....
i myself is hoping that my little tinky camera of mine would give me a manuel depth of field feature. haha

Gopher 06-29-2006 05:53 PM

he was saying that you point the camera directly at one of the girls to get the focus right (by pressing the shutter button half-way) and then recomposing and pressing the button the rest of the way. That's how you play with focus on a p&s.
