This is a simple question, so I figured it doesn't deserve it's own thread.

I was wondering if I find a photo that I like is it possible to bring it to Costco or something to be blown up? Something small like paper size, 8 x 11 somewhere along that size range. I'm asking because of copyright infringement, since it's not my photo, not my artwork.

What if I find the picture out of flickr and give credit to the uploader, is that fine then?

Please, enlighten me. TIA

Would like some of these photos up on my wall.

well, most likely you won't be able to download it in high enough quality for an 8x11 print.

But it will require the authorization of the photographer.

If they do authorize it, then maybe they will be willing to give you a higher res copy at a low price :)

Just a couple from tonight. Too tired to post any more...

I think I still prefer Burrard St. Bridge. You get to see all the boats in the water, the mountains in the background, etc. Oh well.

I was thinking about heading to Burrrard Street Bridge. Like you said you get the great view, and the last bit of daylight behind the island. I am just lazy with the crowds, and rather not take public transit.

This was taken in 2006 from Burrard St. Bridge:

I would've gone there again, but I was meeting up with 6 other people who were already at the beach. Oh, and luckly I know someone who lives a block from the beach and let me park in his garage. You should've seen people lining up for the Skytrain. It was insane! Worse than during the Olympics

a couple of my shots from the beach. it was freaken crowded and people wont freaken sit their asses down
