That particular slide was about 50m. The longest one I did on the descent was about 300m. |

The Train Glacier, I think it's called. It's the one above the Semaphore Lakes, between Locomotive and Face. |

But the point is, it looks "tilted" because of the shoreline. If you look as well, you can see the "vertical" lines of the buildings aren't quite vertical, either. Pretty much any photo-editing program should have some sort of "rotate" or "straighten" function. |

By the horizon I mean the orientation of the picture... in other words - your picture is slanted |
It's not as spectacular, but this was a panorama from Wedgemount Lake, a few weeks back. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4146/...65e38a73_b.jpg |

Got my Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 and some strobist stuff in the mail yesterday and I did a quick shoot with my cousins/sis today. Didn't really set it up, used an SB600 and a YN460-II both shot through umbrellas. What do you guys think? http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4108/...71f98fe7_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4090/...ccf82a26_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4128/...5dc55dbc_z.jpg |
