It was actually a controlled descent. The quickest way down a mountain is to slide on your ass.

That particular slide was about 50m. The longest one I did on the descent was about 300m.

The Train Glacier, I think it's called. It's the one above the Semaphore Lakes, between Locomotive and Face.

Considering you can't actually see the horizon in that shot...

But the point is, it looks "tilted" because of the shoreline. If you look as well, you can see the "vertical" lines of the buildings aren't quite vertical, either.

Pretty much any photo-editing program should have some sort of "rotate" or "straighten" function.

By the horizon I mean the orientation of the picture... in other words - your picture is slanted

It's not as spectacular, but this was a panorama from Wedgemount Lake, a few weeks back.

Alright, thanks for the explanation, yeah I kind of thought it was a little slanted as I don't have a tripod yet and took that shot by sitting my camera propped up on my folded up sweater on a pillar.

Got my Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 and some strobist stuff in the mail yesterday and I did a quick shoot with my cousins/sis today. Didn't really set it up, used an SB600 and a YN460-II both shot through umbrellas. What do you guys think?
