two shots from a 30 min downtown building shoot for a friend. http://www3.telus.net/public/a7a36429/building.jpg http://www3.telus.net/public/a7a36429/building1.jpg |
the 2nd one is very nice.... the ultra high contrast brings out compliments the various lines and shapes of the buildings and shadows. |
one thing i don't like about the 2nd pic are the jagged edges |

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...aris/ryan1.jpg Why does my images look better in photoshop? Anyways heres one of them from the shoot. Really should put a sig there. |
Amuse: I like the colours in that shot :). Dspirit: The second photo, imo, is better than the first. In the first shot her face is too plastic looking. Majin: Your colour profile is most likely off. Posting for web is different than viewing your own photo on your desktop not via the browser. I believe you are working in aRGB in adobe? Convert it to RGB for web. (I think I'm right) |

critique on the shot too! |
Amuse: Try and watch out for those hot spots (on leave and fruit). The sun is a killer! Majin: aRGB vs. sRGB. Try to convert it in PS and see if there's a difference. |
Amuse: looks like the day had very high specularity. Try using a little bit of fill flash, maybe -1.5EV. Majin: Nice image! |
