Its been there for a while now..
thats awesome. i always wanted to do a shot like that
if you dont mind me asking, where did you have the camera converted? locally or thru lifepixel? what's their turnaround time? how much? im thinking of converting my old 40d to a 720nm or 870nm

I also don't recommend the Nikon D40 if you want to shoot color IR since it doesn't allow a proper custom white balance once converted to IR (BW IR with the D40 works fine, though)

Speaking of eBay, i just received this:
Yes, another 50mm.. Its the Minolta 50mm Rokkor-X QF f/3.5 Macro.
I got it brand new sealed, in the box and it came with 1:1 and 4:1 reverse adapter; all OEM. . Ignore the ghosting on this picture as I shot at a mirror.
Yeah I saw that but its only µ4/3rds mount and reviews say its very soft until F2.
For another hundred bucks, a Voigtlander 50mm F1.1 Nokton can be had!
came out of my point and shoot from when I was in Ibiza, sitting at Cafe Del Mar watching the sunset. I know it's overexposed and blown out to the max, but it really does capture the mood.
mmm, Ibiza. The island that never sleeps
See any big names when you were there? I was fortunate enough to see Pete Tong at Pacha
I think my schedule when I was there was something like predrink from 12am-2am, go out to party til 7am, sleep from 8-12, eat lunch and go to the beach, then watch the sunset, rest for a bit and repeat.
