lol, took me and the gf about an hour to do. we decided to do it after shovelling snow for a bit.

debating doing a Giant Muk Muk but it would be tough to make the dood stand up and also to make his flippers/tail as well

i challenged myself today and tried taking some hockey shots @ the NS Winter Club. it was damn hard, gotta say, and i didn't even get any decent action shots. all of these are ISO 1000 f4, but maybe more speed next time.

It's tough because almost all local rinks are pretty dim, so you'd probably need 2.8 @ 800iso at least.

I'm taking an interest in shooting some local pick-up basketball to work on my sports-photography skills, and shooting sports in general is very tough imo. Getting the focus right with fast abrupt movements is a lot easier said than done. Let me just say thank god for AF-ON and Custom Func IV-1 set to 1 LOL

Thanks for the feedback.
Here's my flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/nuwen/
I haven't uploaded all the photos since I'm pretty busy most of the time and I just exceeded my monthly limit on flickr.

My way of doing it is usually, Filter >> Lens correction and then manually apply vignette.
