banca boats, clear blue water, sunny skies, san miguel....Philippines! Where at? |
Haha yeah I'm sure the San Miguel definitely gave it away.. Those photos were in Coron. Stayed at the Sangat Island Dive Resort and did some island hopping. |
^ damnnn after going to boracay this place looks a lot more relaxing!:drool do you have more information about the accommodations? i'd love to go to a place like that if I ever head back to the philippines :) |
this is a milk and white chocolate covered graham wafer creatiion. it's tipped up into a vertical position(see the second pic, my set up.) http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...10/12/cow3.jpg i used the leftover wafer to prop up the cow to the right height, haha! http://members.shaw.ca/northvanmike/canal/noppcow.jpg also, from the same cookie sheet last night, 2 square feet of the biggest Reese's peanut butter cup you ever saw. http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...pbandchoc3.jpg and i wish this came out sharper, but she made me photograph this just before i was leaving for work this morning, wasn't as attentive as i should have been. oh well: http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...12/jambar4.jpg |

I also went to Boracay during that trip and it's exact opposite compared to where we stayed in Palawan. It's super quiet and relaxing. There was only like 6 or so huts on the island so it's always quiet and not busy at all. I thought that I'd like Boracay better after hearing about the nightlife and what not. But we went to Palawan before Boracay and Boracay felt a little too touristy for me if I wanted that I'd almost rather go to like cancun or something. But the Sangat Island Dive Resort is a unique place that I'll definitely return to. I don't scuba dive or anything but we just did a lot of island hopping and snokelling. One of the wrecks is only like 3 feet under the surface so you can stand on it, so it was awesome to snorkel around it. It was a Japanese boat sunken by an American attack during WW2, but yeah there's like a dozen or so other sunken Japanese boats around that area so it's a big plus if you dive. |
