I like #3. |

WTF is this thing??? It was sitting in the tree near the Swaneeset golf course. Vulture? I never knew they lived here. It was huge, pprobably larger than a bald eagle...massive wingspan. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/PICT3055.jpg |
Yah it looks like some type of vulture. No feathers on the head kinda gives it away. That's my guess anyways. Does look huge though. |

Thanks for the replies, guys. I got a positive response from some birding experts. It's a juvenile turkey vulture. |
ooo! I think I remember chasing those things around once at a park... |
The sunlight coming down through the tree branches lit just this rock only. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/PICT3142.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/PICT3149.jpg Sad.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/PICT2994.jpg |

i took this picture last summer in hong kong on my leica III (50+ year old camera). but since then i have moved to digital and i didn't develop this roll of film until very recently i quite like this picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...-53910013s.jpg but sadly i am quite sure i shot from my hip. i still dun think i have the courage to take pictures at stranges in such a short distance. any advice?? |

1st pic : putting the ultra wide angle to work already eh? look at the colors... sweet lens huh? 2nd pic: need to pick a better moment to take your shot, it looks like a random snapshot of a guy on the ice. 3rd pic: pic is tilted, but the timing is better. Try cropping tighter with sports shots. |
not my pics, but they're amusing: Try shooting with THAT! lol http://www.fotografie.fr/dpr-Pkvisit/pk4.jpg D80 profile http://www.fotografie.fr/dpr-Pkvisit/pk7.jpg Same or Different? http://www.fotografie.fr/dpr-Pkvisit/pk10.jpg Those are from Photokina, I think. It'd be cool to have one of those giant cameras in the house as decoration... sweet. |

The shot from your hip is a great shot. Perfect focus, and since it was shot at an angle we don't typically see from, it makes for an interesting shot. If you have the coordination to aim from your hip, keep doing it. IMO |
