I'm going to try adding a wallpaper section to my blog sometime this weekend, and I'll put up these photos up when i do so.

As for post processing for these 2 photos, I used the preset Color Creative - Color CP2 in Lightroom 3 as my base, and then I tweak the brightness/contrast/clarity/vibrance till I get my desired effect. I sometimes play around with the fill light settings also.

Haha, I use 90% facebook, and some Picasa. Maybe I should switch to all Picasa. Weird that you can't hotlink to FB! But some here can see. Strange.

Don't know why..but I've never had problems viewing other images linked from facebook in other threads.. aka NSFW threads.

Thanks Euro, and m3thods for the nice compliments! I have some more straight on shots that worked out quite well but didn't want to flood the place with Zoo pic's. I'll post a few more good ones when i'm not working.

Is the zoo free? Nope, i bought myself a year pass for $100 bucks since i'm basically here for a year, and its about 25 mins away on the tram so its easy to get to. The animals that they have there are totally fascinating, and the enclosures are not too bad either. Always something to look it since they have some baby elephants, the siberian tiger pups, an other baby's that were just born in the Zoo. I like using a long lens as well so you can isolate them so it doesn't look like a Zoo photo.

whats even WORSE with Facebook is that when it resizes to their maximum size(750 by ? ) , everything goes soft.

you can have a beauty $1500 lens and then upload it to Facebook to get a shitty soft unfocused image...

IrfanView is the same. i've used Irfanview to resize a pic because some forums only allow 1024 by 1024, so i've used it in the past to quickly resize. mistake!
