Did you actually pay full price and buy one? Or is it some sort of company loan?
If you did, is it worth the $$?? 24mp on a Nikon FF |

Went on mini road trip. I snapped a photo.
I need some advice... everytime I snap a photo and edit a little, I don't know if the colours are right or not. I want the photo to stand out but I want it to be near the perfect side.

Is it worth it? Not to most people. We've had a few wealthy amateurs buy it, but most of the sales are to commercial photographers who can economically justify spending $8000 on a camera. Actually, now that you can buy a 31MP Hasselblad system for about $13,000 with a lens, sales have dropped off, and we're selling more medium format than D3x or 1DsmkIII bodies.

Leica S2 with 70mm f2.8, 3200 ISO(!)
100% crop - click on the image to go to the un-resized image. You can read the awning of the restaurant across False Creek!

How did he do it? It looks like carved wood and then painted. I wanna duplicate it if I may. My mother loves crazy things like this so she can put it in her backyard! haha. Might make a sweet gift.
My attempt at hand held HDR. I tried messing with the colours to give it a purplish/dark and gloomy look during the sunset. That sounds kind of weird when I think about it but I kinda the photo so I'll roll with it. |
