Next time try adding some exposure compensation, like +0.3 or +0.7 2. Fill the judo guys in a more interesting position. In the 2nd picture there is too much space around the players, and the ref in the back is stealing the attention. The background of ppl is also distracting. After all, your goal is to capture the intenseness of the match, so the main focus should be the guys. 3. The 3rd picture cut off too much of the competitors, and framed a little weird, I don't really know what to look at or where to focus my attention. 4. Show the faces more! Faces, especially in sports, often have a lot of emotion, so they can add a lot to the pictures. 5. Move around! All 3 shots were shot at the same spot... Happy shooting! |

i downloaded Viveza2 from NIK software(15 day trial) and am finding it extremely handy. what Lightroom can do so easily for toning and sharpness, Viveza does the same for light and colours, especially in areas you only want adjusted. it works as a plugin through LR or PS, or Aperture(Apple). the adjustments are so natural (when done within reason) i'm already thinking of buying this. probably old news for a lot of you guys, but if you haven't heard of it, give it a try! http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-.../wideview2.jpg http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...2/wideview.jpg |

A few from the dog park today... Dusty was chasing this pug around and around until the pug suddenly looped back to stare Dusty down...
