i adjusted contrast,gamma,saturation... why? |
I dont know...it just seems like a lot of the pics you post just have a little too much contrast...could be just me though. Eithery way, a cool picture! Maybe try the same shot with the lights off and a 10 sec exposure? |
what kind of monitor are you using? it looks fine on my 20inch lcd, but havent printed it off yet haha ya its hard to turn off the sun, maybe ill try it tonight |
^ haha yea, that's what I meant. I'm using two 20 wide lcds |
hmm i prefer pictures when they look like unreal, like magazine pictures. like "how did they do that" and i try to do the same |
i notice it too. so much contrast it becomes unbelievable. |
haha ok.....ill show it with the contrast turned down where it was originally.. there is a difference between overcontrasted than properlly exposed...i dont really see a difference then what came right off my rebel xt compared to edited, just a bit darker? maybe my monitor is fucked hahaah edited http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...7/IMG_0613.jpg original http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...e187/newer.jpg |
I'm scared of gas stoves. |
but what parameter did you set your XT at? |

^ Fantastic shot, just wish that distracting red line of a cloud on the left wasn't there. |
|
Also crits? 7 people lurking... |
Was the dog black? I like the border and wide film look. The vig helps to focus on the dog too |

Finally got my slides back! Here are 3 pics from the 'dewy spider webs' shoot day. Photos taken with the Leica M6 35mm f1.4 on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 slide film. Scanned on my piece of shit flatbed, so the brilliant quality of the slides is totally lost. I'm pissed...I want a dedicated film scanner! I'll bring the slides to the next wings meet. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Foggy-cows.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../Foggy-web.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...reflection.jpg |
last one strikes me the most senna |

Because you are photographing a very large entity (the sky) and leaving the foreground in shadow, it would better serve your purpose to fill the photograph with mostly sky and a little of the foreground just to give some sort of orientation. Nice colours. |
^ alright, fair enough! Thanks for all the help! :) |
