i downloaded an auto-bracketing app fer my phone and used photoshop to merge em the app only takes 3 exposures though

this is my first attempt ever @ an HDR shot ive got no idea what im doin but i played around with the settings

i guess its not an environment/item that's appropriate for an hdr shot i guess :/

The photos start in color, then you use a program that has color splash. In photo bucket you could try it for free or I just use photo shop to do it.

A big horn I saw on a trip to Banff national park yesterday.

just go into photoshop/lightroom or w/e you use and desaturate the colors you dont want in the pic and they will turn black or white. or you can do it the hard way and mask the object and make everything else black and white.

i.e if i want just the blue car in my picture, i desaturate all other colors.

This works for me, it might be a longer process than whats really needed. I'm sure you can do layers and stuff but i'm not good with that. I first load the picture, go through levels, contrast and all the usual stuff to make it look how i want. Then i make it black and white, and contrasty enough. Then i'll use the history brush to to the part that i want to make color. I have to zoom way in like 400% sometimes to get close enough, but that's how i roll. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Something like this you mean?
