I have no idea where deer lake is, but I love the colours. A+ |
Damn you responded too fast, I was gonna say it looked like Deer Lake Parkway. I live just on the other side of the lake and was actually down there tues taking pics =) |
very nice pictures. |
|
^ That's a nice photo. I like it. I really like the way the sculpture gets rim lit with the sun in the background. |
ckrieg- really nice photo, that statue is pretty hard to expose properly and it looks like you did a pretty good job of it You need to find some new locations to shoot though, there's more to that town than the downtown area and the bridge =) |
^ Thanks! That was my first pic of downtown. I think you might be mixing up me for xxx19, unless you were just commenting in general :) |

Either way, you guys don't want to end up with all the same shots. We should have a wing night in kelowna next may long weekend during the hill climb. I'm up there every year. |
had the bug tonight, so I went out to do some shooting. All taken in the Downtown/North Kelowna Area http://www.gad.ca/photography/IMG_8127copy.jpg http://www.gad.ca/photography/IMG_8136copy.jpg http://www.gad.ca/photography/IMG_8179copy.jpg |
Last one ;) |
I know where at least the 1st and 3rd photos were taken, I have a guess for the 2nd but I'll have to check my photos to confirm =) I like the first one, the colors and haze seem sureal, but I'm drunk so it may just be me =) Birds of a feather http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/328/img5392kn2.jpg The tides my bitch http://img82.imageshack.us/img82/7481/img5364rk3.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/705/img4744eo7.jpg |
^ haha, no, your right, the first one does. Tried to give it that "heaveny glow" As far as your pics go, I feel that: #1 is very crisp, nice colour too #2 almost seems too blue to me. But again, just my opinion #3 Neat picture, but my eyes are constantly drawn to the right, to the door frame which takes away from the dog. Very bright door frame though :) |
