SOOOO GOOOD!!!!
I've wanted to take that exact same photo for so many years I just never end up going to the PNE.

Awesome photo. Super jealous. :)

Didn't the security goons not give you a hard time? I was forbidden by them for taking photos last year. :(

I few years ago i took my DSLR to the PNE and it was all good. Got quite a few shots. Too bad i haven't been able to go for the past two years or so.

Panorama shot of the Docklands in Melbourne Australia. The funky looking bridge that you see if the Webb Bridge, and it's pretty i think!

Thanks for that. So you mean the image should not have been so wide? More "zoomed" in? I have some closer pictures somewhere, i will try to dig them up!

Nice concert pictures too. Would have been nicer to get a bit closer to the action. So i guess i'm saying the same thing basically. lol..

Senna, beautiful vantage point you had there! Where was this taken from? You have some nice toys to play with it seems, all the time! Jelly!

It was taken from my friend's balcony. Yeah, I've been shooting a lot of medium format lately for clients. I actually haven't shot with my 5DmkII for about 2 months. One downside of shooting hundreds of 50MP files is you use up so much hard drive space - each Hasselblad RAW file is 75-80MB. The other downside of shooting medium format is how bad 35mm DSLR files & lenses are, comparatively speaking - it's difficult to go back to shooting with my 5DmkII!

Here's the pano from yesterday - click to see larger image:

I like this one! I would try to not have the subject in such a central part of the image. Maybe crop it into a square image with the flower on the left?

I'm not sure if I'm really enjoying the extremely soft area (top center) or I'm doing something wrong.

Also I don't think i know how to focus to infinite with my lens, the adapters i have from ebay states that it can focus to infinite (buy is 99.x% feedback) and its the first time using manual lens myself. Anyway to check? I'm currently using Asahi Super Takumar 50mm 1.4 + adapter + Canon xti. Thanks

First time doing the Stawamus Chief. All fun and easy except for the first bit where it's all stairs, other than that, go go go. Great view from the 2nd, nothing at the 3rd. My pano's missing a bit from the bottom but I didn't want to crop the image even smaller. Sort of fits in with the shadows anyways :)
