it was an opportunity i couldn't pass, the seller was desperate to sell it because of his medical bills. since i traded my 70-300 L IS for a 1D Mk III, i grabbed it.

Last night's Jacky Concert: 
heavily cropped 
This guy was nuts...got busted 3 times and he finally put it away..lucky they didn't take it from him (300 2.8L IS II & 1-Series body). 
His wife had the body in her bag, he snuck the HUGE lens in inside his puffy vest with the front element facing down...suck if that thing dropped out.
