these two are due tomorrow...

12x18 matte...

contrast between high and low culture entertainment... blah blah
blah..

I think I liked the shot shooting out from the stage better. Had a nicer warmer feeling!

The stem bothers me too, but to get that out of the way, I'd have to go on the other side of the fence, which was on private property. :( That was already at f11. Any slower and I'd need a tripod which I didn't have on me.

i m not trying to crap ur pics or anything.. just i find the halo
kinda annoying... i get that when i use the curve/shadow n highlight tool

i don't think ti's due to the flash, because i see it infront of the bike, bottom
and even around the shadows.... halo around shadows isn't
a natural phenomenon

^nice colors, it doesn't really follow the rule of thirds, I may have angled it down a tad to include grass the whole way across the bottom. But I like it anyways =)

ps. somethings missing? oh ya, there's no bridge or water fountain in it? lol

I know :( The ones that I did take using the rule of thirds didn't have the fence and wheat in it. So that's why I choose that one anyways.

Nice colours...did you add the magenta? I would have angled the camera up to not include the fence & grass in the foreground and have made it into a skyscape. A square format might look good, too.

ColinK 10-18-2006 09:53 AM

^ no addition of colours, just adjustments to the picture

awsome colours... rules of thirds goes for vertical
as well as a horizontal(aka landscape) framing...

do u have any shots of that scene that it was
in horizontal format? cause vertical and landscapes
don't work well, i know u prob wanted to get in the
colours of the sky...

perhaps, u could have shot it with the camera lower
to the ground and tilting up? this way u can get more of
the arrigation thing and give the viewer a wide prospective
into the depth.
