that jumping pic is awesome, hanshigi! nice shot! so... 1st basketball outing with the Canon. It certianly felt differnt than my old Nikon rig, can't really pinpoint exactly what's different, but it was. this guy got beat cleanly and was calling for help! lol sweet http://static.flickr.com/113/275140255_dcb3223d9a_o.jpg http://static.flickr.com/111/275140254_300dfec696_o.jpg http://static.flickr.com/80/275140250_e0472f22ae_o.jpg Sidenote: Canon's ISO ratings are rather conservative and their sensors seem to be slightly more sensitive than rated. i was able to use a higher shutterspeed on the Canon, under the same lighting condition and the same f-stop and ISO setting as the Nikons. Interesting. |

wow to the second picture. you got some dust or whatever .. last picture focus is funny.. coulda focused more on the body not the leg? anyways....whats your setup for the bee pictures? |

For the last picture, I wanted a sense of the wasp walking away from me, so I focused on its 'bee'-hind (HA!), but I got its leg and the tip of the wing. I liked the effect also, so I posted it. :) The dust is from a dirty car roof! |
oh wow. thought you caught it, froze it and then put it on a glossy piece of paper....d= |

I'm saying ISO 1600 is more like ISO 1800 or 2000 or something like that with the Canon. |

Salar, get rid of that dark spot on the top left rocks. Nice pictures Ron, it's so hard to capture good moments with any sports. Question, when you look at actual NBA pictures why are they so much more whiter? Is it just that the indoor lighting is cheaper where you shot? |

patience.=) you just wait for the train to come? |
