A close encounter with a snake!! Ok, it was just a garden snake. I spotted it along the side of the trails during our nature walk to Crystal Falls, Pritchett Creek. I thought it was a little bit scary and cute at the same time. I wanted to bring him home. haha!  | |

Well here's my attempt at the shot tonight. D700 + 14-24mm f2.8 @ f18. Lens Defraction really starting to set in. Used ISO 125 (-0.7ev from Base ISO of 200). If I could get a ND filter with ISO200 and larger fstop results should have been better!
