Do not ask me to show me your photo.

I only see photos with bad focus, handblur, or bad composition.

To me your ugly photo is a natural shot

To me your realistic shot is a great piece of work.

Don't ask me to delete your photo just becuase you look short, that's what wide angle lens does.

Don't ask me to delete your photo just because your eyes are small. get double eye lid surgery or rip your eyes open.

Don't ask me to Delete your photo, my eyes have inclined to the point where I no longer see the subject "you" but judge the photo objectively.

Don't ask me to delete your photo. I'm low on battery.

hanshigi: Can you tell us a little about your background in photography? You just started posting and your pictures look great.
What gave you the idea of the girl jumping up with the guitar?

Patience

Your watermark is seriously distracting...but I can never get away from shots with moving trains...lol...I don't know why but I just love em.

wow.. uh. .nothing fancy.
I'm still in my last year of high school. planning to go to the east to study business . hopefully
i started photography when i was in grade 6 (6 years ago. i guess)
i first began with a simple film camera
Pentax SFXn with 85mm f2.8
it was passed down to me by my grandfather who was a well know photographer in Korea.
I began shooting daily everyday life stuff,
then began seriously few years ago around 2003/2004
picked up my first digital camera
sony f717. at first it was mostly wildlife, nature, etc etc.
then i was drawn to the automotive tunining hobby.
as my age put a restriction to me actually owning a car back then,
i contributed to my car club "Vcstyle" by doing photography for them.
as my club is full of very kind and nice people they always had time to let me photograph their car.
then i found the equipment lacking (not faulty. just lacking as my demands grew)
then picked up my DSLR about 6 months ago
and just been shooting like crazy.
i had to buy an external hdd just to store all my raw files.
i'm no one fancy. just a young boy who looked up to his grandfather and wished one day he could be just like him.
this is not much, but yeah. this is my background in photography

and as for the girl jumping with the guitar.
she is a dear friend of mine who is very passionate about her music. girls don't really play "bass" (..it's a bass by the way). it just came to me while watching them practice
so we went in to an empty room
set up my external flash then jump, click, jump, click
after three shots, this one came up. my fav.
:)

Nice shots, Jason. But I wonder if the first one is over-saturated?
Interesting composition in the other two.

To bad we were both shotting BW film :(
Andrea's is the only one that has the other coloured pictures .. If he posts it though, they are copy written by me! lol

77civic1200 10-23-2006 02:06 PM

I took a couple with my S2, I like the colors of sunsets, I just don't like trying to shoot them, its hard trying to find ways to make it more than just another sunset picure.
