Not the greatest quality shot since I took it with my SGS2 while on a lift at Sun Peaks (wasn't going to take my T3i with me haha). But I liked how it turned out.

Re-editing some old photos since the post process workflow is so different from five years ago, I wanted to see if they would look different too.

Posting them on Instagram. Didn't like how they looked in a square since that's not how I took them so...cheating with some widescreen bars.

Would be interested in seeing before and after pictures! Editing technology, like camera technology has come such a long way. For examples the noise reduction in LR4 is like magic.

The old edits are on my flickr. I doubt you'd notice much of a diff on the web but I'm planning on printing some of them to hang, maybe a book of my Japan trip for my bookshelf.

The most noticeable difference would probably be in the coloring, probably. The one of the wooden plates is actually saturated quite a bit. It brings out the color of the wood and I thought the different shades make it more interesting, along with the little splashes of color in the paint and the red strings. I may have gone too far but since it's wood and not skin tones, it doesn't look too unnatural.

The last one has some Instagram filter on it. The others don't.

All shot on my old 1DMK2 and I swear somehow they look better this time around.

No, actually on top of the "Nebelhorn" in Oberstdorf, Germany. Had a wicked inversion and riding down the runs to the base you could barely see 5' in front of you. The direction it is pointing is towards Munich. On a clear day you can see the city.
