I think the composition might be a little weird with the officer in the way, but I still like it.

Picked up a Fuji XF1, need ed a pocketable camera for travelling. Was thinking about a NEX series but the lenses made it way too huge to fit in my pocket. The XF1 lens is a 25-100 lens, f1.8 at 25mm and collapses into the body when turned off. Pretty neat.

Some shots from the XF1

For all other scenarios, I use this

I have two XF1 being shipped to me this week......One in Brown and one in Black.
How do you like the build quality?

Volvoman 06-17-2013 09:33 PM

Build quality is OK, could have been better. I have a light mark on the top left corner of the metal top, also the mode dial is tilted to the left a bit. You will have to get used to turning the lens to turn on the camera, but other than that, rest is good.

Yes, I know.....I hate traveling, but I've always wanted to go to this area and spend some time photographing it. It was totally worth it. I still hate the traveling part though. :p

Muk Muk at Mt. St. Helens. I think the mountain was afraid of Muk Muk's ferocious reputation and hid behind clouds today....
