Too much? |
few of the new mutt and the old, i find the expression on the small dogs face in the first picture to be kind of disturbing? lol :S http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2825/9...f6fcb436_b.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3685/9...7450e8f7_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7341/9...45c95ac8_b.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5503/9...08db0ab3_b.jpg i enjoy shooting the dogs because you capture those seconds that most probably wouldnt even notice if you were just watching them in person. I guess its the same for people |
When shooting animals, try to shoot them from their eye level, not from your own. It gives them more...personality, I think, like you're shooting an animal rather than a pet, if that makes any sense. |

I always feel that pictures of graffiti and other street art needs a person walking by to anchor the photo, to give it depth and scale. Like a slightly blurred person walking in the lower right of the 2nd pic would make it a great street photography pic. |

the second pic, lower right is actually graffiti as well and not a person. that 'person' is approximately 2.5' tall so for scale, these graffiti shots are approximately 1 story tall. :) |

Usually when people don't want to be in pictures, I tell them they don't have to have their face in it. She can have her back to the camera or face down looking into a phone. And if they see it and it's a brilliant pic, they'll pose for real next time. Quote:

Thanks Ronin, really appreciate it! |
Hey kristian, what is the camera that you shoot with again? It's a mirrorless, yeah? |
Yessir, it's an Olympus E-P3 with a 17mm f/2.8. Hoping to get some more lenses once I get some more money. |

Same place, different season. Better composition since I knew where I went wrong the first time. |

http://distilleryimage9.ak.instagram...0a1fa527_7.jpg So I was looking around Craigslist when I spotted this Tamron 24-48 f3.5-3.8 lens and all it cost me was $30! Impressions on it from the Internet seem favorable. I shot a couple test pics. Center is sharp wide open. Problem is the 0.6m minimum focusing distance so you're not likely to get much bokeh at the wide end but it's a very nice look at 48mm. Zoom and focus rings are smooth but the aperture ring is quite clicky. Some vignetting at 24mm. Tamron SP Adaptall-2 24-48mm F/3.5-3.8 Model 13A Can't wait to shoot a video with it. That is a sick lens flare. I want one of those anamorphic lenses to couple so I can go all JJ Abrams on everything. |
You need an adapter to put those old lenses on newer cameras or what? Posted via RS Mobile |
