You have some great pictures there!

Always wanted to go to Bora Bora.

Keeping up with the topic of tropical paradise (at least the diving/snorkeling part)...got some pics of...

Blue Hippo tang (Paracanthurus hepatus)

Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma veliferum)

What camera did you use to capture those images? I used my GoPro a lot but in retrospect, maybe I should have invested in a universal waterproof housing for my D600.

IMO unless you're going diving a lot, a dslr housing that's trustworthy enough for your gear can run into the thousands.

Perhaps a Nikon AW1?

Spoiler!
The exposure is pretty good, I think the biggest improvement to that picture would be a different composition. You have probably come across the rules of thirds in your reading and this really is a good rule to keep in mind. Also, the picture is rotated away from the natural horizontal and even though there isn't an obvious horizon, it is a bit of a detractor in my mind as it looks odd. In general it's nice natural light and a cute dog though!

Thanks! I also thought the composition of where he is placed in the photo was off, but was happy the way he popped as the focal point fairly well. Didn't even think about the off angle though. Thanks for the advice. I've been focusing mostly on making subjects "pop" at the moment so I know I miss other stuff. Just trying to learn different aspects one at a time and put them together.

Yeah makes sense. This is rotated 4 degrees CCW and IMO makes a big difference to it looking more natural.
