Some tips: 1. Horizon crooked. First thing I look for in every photo. 2. Shoot this with a standard lens, not a wide angle. I see some weird curves going on which I can only conclude is distortion. In other words, use a 50mm focal length for best results. 3. Shoot individual shots for your panorama in portrait/vertical orientation. Tends to stitch together easier and you fit more in the frame (not enough room between Science World and the top of the frame). https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/296/19...66429121_b.jpg |
Thanks for the tips, I will check the horizon after stitching all the pictures next time. It was stitched with 5 pictures on a 40mm lens. Actually that was my first try with stitching photo for panorama. |

kind of odd to take a shot of the moon after the super blood moon :lol but i was just playing with my nex 3s 210mm lens on the a7rii https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5759/2...b32dc417_z.jpg handheld but meh :/ probably sharpened it too much too |

it's a bit heavier than i'd like, larger than i would prefer too. with my nex3n, using a pancake lens, i could still stick it in my pockets (kinda) but not with this i like the speed of focusing and of snapping pics compared to my nex3n i also feel like it takes better pics than the nex3n even though im using the same lenses and same mpx (17mpx when using apsc lenses) havent really compared though wasn't a fan of the menu, seems like more of a maze than the nex3n, but i quickly got used to it i miss having a pop-out flash, but i love the evf, worlds better than when i had the nex6 (for a short time) it's so clear! all in all i guess im happy, need to play with it more (with better lenses), if i didn't get it for the discount that i did, i probably would have buyers remorse |
