I've recently gotten sick of shooting birds and I have been chasing bears lately. I had some scary moments, but the bears seem to be (mostly) harmless.

Went out for the Perseid Meteor last week.

We came upon this cub peeping out from a drainage pipe along the trail and took a bunch of photos...then panic set in...WHERE'S MOMMA??? Luckily, she was grazing on grass behind a tree just behind the cub and I didn't see her. She looked at us but completely ignored us. *whew!*

Where you go for that Senna? It's a bit harder than tracking birds isn't it? Great pics my friend!

Thanks! I'm totally done with birds for now...more exciting chasing bears through the woods. I go up to Squamsh and as far as the valley north of Pemberton. Black bears are (mostly) harmless...it's the cougars (four legged kind!) I'm afraid of.

do you do anything different than bird photos? carry bear mace or a blade? i'm sure where there are black bears you're around grizzlies and cougars too

First time doing a panorama shot using a DSLR. Appreciate some comments and some ways to improve.

This was Oct 2015
We were there a month ago, yeah rope is removed. Hence why you bring your own ; )
