First long exposure shot attempt since Ernie helped me setup a shot on the last RS Photowalk (when's the next one? ). C&C is welcome!

Shot a few car pics too, needs a bit of work.

been a bit

had a cloud to the right that reflected a lot of light -_- was going to try n switch positions etc but noticed there were loads of tiny scorpions around me, started feeling itchy all over lol so i left..i couldnt remove it with content aware, so a friend got rid of it fer me

first time spotting it with the naked eye, and first time shooting it, so im quite happy with the result!

replaced my friends edit with my own, since the exif is intact on mine, her edit is still better ;/

you did great!
it's a shame sony has not addressed the star-eater issue on such great low-light/wide dynamic range sensors..i haven' bothered with starry photos because of it.

Was shooting a model out in the woods and almost leaned on this little guy. Happened to have my macro lens in my bag, so quickly finished the session and then turned the strobe around. Gotta say, macro shooting with a strobe/softbox is way better than messing around with a tripod

^^^ cant wait to see the rest Amaru! iceland has some intense landscapes i hear

just a few more night ones, and my first successful? attempt at fireworks

thought this one was neat, the foreground was lit by my cellphone torch, the mountain/hill at the back was lit by the headlights of passing cars, tried getting the rest of the milky way trail but no luck

Yes. Iceland is incredible, man. Easily the coolest, most unique place I've been (and I've been fortunate enough to travel a fair bit).

Picture all the amazing, unique, and other-worldly landscapes in North America.... condensed into a country the size of Belgium. I know it sounds like a horrible place (daytime high temps never break 15ºC even in summer, it's often rainy/overcast, almost no trees in the entire country, very expensive, etc)... but really, every photographer should get on the next plane bound for Reykjavik before the rest of the world gets there first. I am already dreaming about my next trip there (hopefully this winter).

In Iceland, driving 25km means transporting yourself from one world into another... one minute you're driving through gentle rolling hills covered in nothing but bright green moss, the next minute you're in a lifeless, barren desert that could literally be confused with the surface of the moon. And that's all before 10am.

Unfortunately my Iceland pics didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped -- partly due to my own laziness, partly due to the weather, and partly due to an autofocus setting that was fucked up (without me realizing it) for the first half of the trip.

But, when I finally get a chance to finish editing the top 5-10 pics, I'll share a few more in here. In the meantime, folks, please continue posting your mind-blowing photography here... it is humbling/inspiring.
