I went a long time without seeing any owls, then now I’ve seen a bunch in the last few weeks. Behind the Costco in Richmond under the oak st bridge, and in ladner around the parks with trees. The ladner one scared the shit out of me, swooped my toddler and I a few times at dusk. Obviously couldn’t hear a thing until I looked up and saw this 2+ foot wingspan 15” from my face haha |

Bears don't just shit in the woods. Here, you can see the circle of life, as momma bear is returning the digested salmon to the creek where she first caught it! :lol - Nikon Z9 + Nikon 400mm f2.8VR - 1/250 sec, f2.8, 320 ISO https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...3aa2f17a_b.jpgTwo Tails?? by Jason Kazuta, on Flickr |
^ There's a name that I haven't seen on RS in awhile... |
This whole section died off, I'd be curious how many of the regular posters still shoot, what they shoot, and what level everyone is at now |
wow haven't been in here for a long time! How's everyone doing |
I still shoot whenever I've got the chance. But with kids growing up and family duties become less flexible, the day of going out for a photowalk is long gone. :fuckthatshit: Here are a few I took recently in Lyon https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...8961d383_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9c2d766c_b.jpg |
I recently sold most of my sony gear and switched back to fuji...now my camera sits on my desk unused lol, i'll shoot more in the spring |

Hey guys, I'm looking for a local or online company that can take a phone photo and blow it up as a larger ~12x16 print. Any recommendations? Thanks. |
Your phone photo should be large enough to print 12x16. Megapixels wise Go to your photo gallery, click the photo, then find details. As long as it's 14mp or larger, your good to go. Even 10mp will do. It might show pixels instead, 2000x3000 or larger is good. Many print shop, Costco, London drugs, etc, have online print stores. Upload the photo from your phone or computer, select size, order, done If the file is small, then disregard the above, no recommendations |
Nothing fancy -- just the requisite plum blossom photos for the season: https://scontent.fyvr3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...Vg&oe=6435C3C3 https://scontent.fyvr3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...kw&oe=643541D9 https://scontent.fyvr3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...5A&oe=64361FEA |

Tanzania? Kenya? |
Kruger in South Africa |
Nice, was in Serengeti in Tanzania in 2019. Took very similar photos. Animals look almost identical. Did you manage to spot a Rhino? That was the only one of the big 5 I didn't see up close. |
