This happened at the Scotia Bank parking lot today. This clai coming from the opposite direction "robbed" my spot even though she saw me heading towards the spot next to the Dodge Journey... I had to slam on the brakes to avoid making any contact...
No one needs the equivalent of 4 fucking spots to take out a wheelchair..and it's a compact sedan, not a van so I'm willing it bet it's just some douchebag, not someone with a disability
You don't need to have a wheelchair to qualify for handicap parking. When I was in high school and was dangerously underweight (5'7", 72 lbs) due to a gastrointestinal problem, I qualified with only a walking stick (which I didn't use) and I was driving a Nissan S12 200SX, which is a very small car by today's standards.
wonder if security at metro does anything about it.

it was pretty insane at the willingdon costco as well on the weekend. wish i had taken pics. they were even double parked on the dead end street where it's marked no parking. i took that as a sign that i better get my groceries elsewhere ...
