I've seen status 105 street racing crew at a few of the Byrne meets. To me just looked like your basic group of car friends. That being said I do feel having a big ass sticker going across your wind shield is asking for negative attention a) It makes you look pretentious b) people won't take you seriously since it looks like you're begging for attention. Of course, this is all my opinion based on what I've seen so far. I'm sure theres more to it beyond sticker bombing.

I'm more appalled at meme's misuse of the word "you're" in this thread on multiple occasions than anything else
I misuse it all the time, and the funny part is, sometimes I will type the long version when I am supposed to use the short version, which makes me look like a moron.
I type really fast when I am on RS, and unless I feel like being succinct, which is rare, I usually don't give a fuck. I'll try to be better.

What on earth are you talking about?
When is one supposed to use the "long version"?
That's like saying, I use the name Johnathan when I'm supposed to use John.

We're talking about the use of your and you're.
Sometimes when I am just typing with my brain turned off, I will just type "you're" (the LONGER version), when the actual appropriate use would have been your.
It's just ironic, because most people type the shorter version incorrectly just out of sheer laziness.
it's the low profile tires on a stock ride that make it look like shit
if all it takes to make it to HOS is a set of decent looking aftermarket rims mounted on a new ride without a drop, well 25% of all modded cars should make the HOS. too funny.
Who needs the fashion police, we have the modding police....haha!

damnit, i joined 'status 105' but they didn't have any windshield banners...instead they used a black marker and wrote their crap down on my car... i quit the same day! Took hours to wipe off that black sharpie.
anyways, my last post on them.. i'll post some great HOS stuff soon!
GG
So I tried joining them too, is it only for flips?

This. It looks like just a normal car to me..
I'm gonna be real here. Now it just seems like this "thread" is just an excuse to hate on anyone/anything that doesn't fit a very narrow idea of what is cool. Yes we get it, Status 105 were being idiots but they're just people who like cars like the rest of us. Who cares if they just park and don't track, plenty of people really love cars and have never been to a high performance driving event. Look at "Tsugi No Unagi" and that FRS... basically a race built car that has never been to a track event. Yet he doesn't get hated on because everyone loves to cockride the Rocket Bunny stanced out look. Different strokes for different folks. And obviously Status 105 made some missteps defending themselves but to be fair we made fun of them first.
Let's go back to hating on "ACC" cars and nearly-six-figure luxury cars covered in reflective tape and idiotic stripes please!
Pretty sure that frs has been hated on more than anyone in this club. Only thing is it doesn't get to a point where it gets talked about for 6-8 pages in HOS lmao but anyways I too don't get why all the fuss on the 105 club. Guess what's entertaining to some isnt for me... :$
