He was probably trying to make it look like the original Plum Crazy purple hemi colour of the 70s. Except for the fact that the original Dart was a bad ass muscle car and not a wimpy 4 banger eco pos.
I'd be fine if he tried to replicate the vintage feel with say, a proper wrapped hood and body with wheels that that work with being modern yet with a vintage flare.

Very rare and limited edition Nismo altima SE-R , Nissan took the already great Altima and made it even better. This beauty is a 6-speed manual with a new upgraded clutch installed less than 6 months ago providing over 10 HP. With a separate set of rims and new tires for the winter and summer the handling and looks are great. Just an amazing car, speed , looks, and room, this car is really the total package.
