Very disappointing. =/

Aside from that and the waitress hovering our table while I take my time to take care of the bill, I thought the overall experience was pretty ok.

Thank you for your kind feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed your experience at Ebisu, but I'm a little confused as to the 2nd half of your comment. You mean you had half a steak that was packed by the server but when you brought it home there were only potatoes in there?
Wow sorry about that but I can't imagine that happening ... so did the server pack the wrong dish or did you also have potatoes but they just left out the steak? I doubt that the server ate your leftovers lol I don't starve my staff :p Gonna need to figure out how something like that happened ...
Next time you come down please don't hesitate to say hi to me!

I imagine that the server gave us another table's dish by mistake. We did order the potato appetizer but we finished it- so it couldn't be ours. As for the steak- some other group probably got it instead.

Thanks for the oyster fry's. I can't believe you guys got rid of them. We would've stayed a lot longer if not for all those other parties lined up.

Obsideon 01-19-2010 04:42 PM

NP dude, yeah sorry it's not as popular as I originally thought it would be so I decided to replace it with the "Seafood Spring Rolls" which is doing ok... I personally really liked the Oysters too haha but no worries I'm pretty sure I can still special order it for you anytime! ;)

What are the actual hours? I had servers doing last call at 10:30 ish! I was like WTFFF

Obsideon 01-30-2010 02:49 PM

Were you at the Broadway location? They close earlier than the Robson location.

We are open for lunch 11:30am - 2:30pm everyday except Saturday.
Weekday Dinner (Sun - Thurs) is 4:30pm - 12:00am (midnight) we do last call for FOOD at 11:15pm and drinks at 11:30pm.

Weekend (Fri & Sat) is 4:30pm to 1:00am, last call for food at 11:45pm & drinks at 12:30am, we also serve Late Night snack food until 12:30am on the weekends, like our signature Chicken Karaage, Chikuwa Cheese, Nachos, etc basically the stuff that goes really well with drinks!

Update: During the Olympics we will be open from 11am to 2am EVERY SINGLE DAY from Feb. 8th to Feb. 28th and there's a chance we'll extend the hours even after the Games!

Good_KarMa 01-30-2010 03:35 PM

I really like the chicken karaage and the oysters. Keep up the good work.

Oh and the kimchi fried rice!

Ahh yes, the 2 hour limit... :p

What are you going to do, eh? The place is busy.

That's why I get so pissed when people are late for a reservation. It makes everything rushed.

too_slow 02-01-2010 10:16 AM

I <3 kimchi fried rice.. I tried to replicate it at home but failed miserably.. :(

Gt-R R34 02-01-2010 11:17 AM

Deon! thanks for the good times on friday.
The drinks and food are always good for a night out!

Obsideon 02-17-2010 06:03 PM

Meet some Olympic Athletes!

It's actually not that bad traffic-wise on our side of Robson!
Don't be afraid to enjoy the Downtown sights and grab some good & drinks here!

Japan's Olympic flagbearer Tomomi Okazaki (岡崎朋美) has already ate here twice! I'm thinking she's lovin' the food hehe!
http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xc/789...62EAF347BE4F4F
Does it mean our food is healthy enough for her to indulge on AND be an Olympic level athlete?? Craziness!

Also Gold Medalist Guo JingJing - Captain of Team China Diving Team was here last week! She's not participating (unless she's diving into snow?) but I'm sure she's here to cheer on her country!
