| Koni Shocks

Koni has announced there new STR.T Street Shock . This will be a program that will have product for a wide variety of import and domestic cars, like Honda, VW, Miata, Mustang etc. The shocks are designed after the soft setting of the Koni Sports. These will be ideal for all sporting applications. They will be priced at the area of $89 for shocks and $94 for struts. Availability will be in the beginning of the year.
This is what Koni is doing
Koni is offering 4 products now but not for all cars
Koni Red- "Special D"Their original shock, slightly stiffer than stock, and adjustable for stiffness
Koni Yellow- "Sport" Sporty stiff setting shock, usually externally adjustable for stiffness, sometimes height adjustable
Koni FSD- Frequency Selective Damping- a newer design that gives a good ride, not hard and excellent roadholding
Koni Orange- STR-T (Street) Koni's newest product- A non adjustable Sport Setting damper for older but popular import cars. Low price point. Your question is Why is it cheaper? To compete. To compete with Bilstein's twin tube line, to compete with Tokico, to compete with KYB, to compete with Tein
