Or EMT or wire, whatever you two decide on.
Some people will trust you? It depends I guess.
I pulled the trigger on an automatic watch... It's been a while for me since I rock a Luminox as my daily. I ordered on Amazon on Friday, and here already today by lunch!
Very good value (as it is always with Seiko), and I love orange watch faces. I miss my Orange Monster!

^Nice Monster!
@Boss watch; it has the El Primero subdial overlap! :P
I just impulse bought a Seiko Starlight on ebay: (Not my photo)
wahhhh I need help! I am already planning to buy a Speedmaster for my 30th birthday at the end of the year, so I really didn't need to be buying more watches But that dial!!!!
@Selling watches:
Anyone try Govberg Jewellers / TheWatchBox? (Previously known as WatchUWant) They are reputable, but are located in the states. They buy/sell/trade luxury watches, authorized dealers of almost all of the luxury brands you can think of, and have a huge pre-owned department. https://www.thewatchbox.com/
I watch almost all of their youtube videos, sometimes live if I'm not busy.

I try not to deal with the likes of WatchUSeek, TimeZone, Chronocentric et al. simply because too many scammers, and having to deal with cross border shipping etc. Forget it. I value my time and efforts and not having to deal with unforeseen headaches.
CWC has been good to me. You can use me as a reference on the forums. Good group of people on there.
Edit: Full disclosure - I did sell a watch on Chronocentric to a buyer in Dubai, but only because this was a well-known, reputable buyer. He arranged all the shipping on his own dime from start to finish. All I had to do was pack the watch, meet with FedEx at my doorstep, and hand over the watch. He wire transferred me the money before I even shipped it, and let the funds clear into my account.
Would I do it for a regular Joe from other forums mentioned above? Probably not anymore. I got very lucky. Canadian Watch Collector - lots of reputable members in Vancouver and Toronto, so it makes it easy to deal with people. You do have a few odd balls, but they get weeded out and if you do your due diligence, you can figure out who the weirdos are.

CWC or rolexforums. For that price range, I'd only accept wire. It goes without saying to make sure it clears before sending. Pack well, next day shipping. Make sure it's insured for the full amount. I believe parcelpro is what most ppl use now.

Wire is safer for the seller because the Paypal policies are a little bias towards the customer if anything goes wrong.
Rolexforums will only allow you to sell if you pay a pledge of $28 USD or more. Watchuseek needs 100 posts or more. Both are great watch communities with a lot of enthusiasts. They would be cautious with a new account however so might delay your sale a bit but who knows until you try.

Love that orange dial Samurai!
Can you believe that I read this thread 10 years ago and bought my first Seiko that I saw at Costco?

EDIT: Is that a Black Samurai? Very nice! Titanium case?
I didn't realize it but the orange matches my jacket pretty well.

What's your guys' opinions on the Orient Bambino Gen. 2 or Orient watches in general? I just bough an SKX and I'm looking to buy a dress watch in the near future.
I had my eyes set on the Tissot Visodate, but the Bambino looks like a good start to a watch collection.

Bambinos are alright for their price, kinda like the WD watches and a bit better than Vincero.
If your going to be serious about a watch collection, maybe try looking at the Seiko Presage (cocktail) line

^^I just bought an Orient Polaris GMT on a whim during that surprise ebay 20% sale...
I'll post up my thoughts on it when I get it. My first orient!
Also, if by WD you mean Daniel Wellington, they're not really comparable other than 'looks'...One's is an overpriced quartz with a fancy name, and the other one has some heritage, with an in-house automatic movement.
Edit**: Bambino V2 doesn't hand-wind, which could be a big consideration, especially if you're not going to wear it regularly. V3 and V4 are hand-winding, hacking movements.

Looking forward to seeing your feedback on your new Orient!
The Bambinos I had my eyes on were either the Gen. 2 V1 or V3
Is Daniel Wellington a popular brand? I've heard nothing but negative comments about them

Is Daniel Wellington a popular brand? I've heard nothing but negative comments about them | I think we're misusing gen. and version haha. The first two generations of Bambinos don't handwind. 3rd and 4th gens do. Online they're often referred to as V3 and V4, hence my use of it.
Daniel Wellingtons are fashion watches, nothing more. Their movements are cheap, they're absurdly overpriced, and imo, have no place in a watch collection if you appreciate horology.
Will update when the watch comes in!

Is Daniel Wellington a popular brand? I've heard nothing but negative comments about them | So the watch came in. Bought on ebay, came in original box, tags, warranty card, everything.
The watch itself is pretty damn good looking. The details on the dial and the hands are really good, the colour scheme, the polish, the movement itself, everything oozes quality. Mind you, the two most expensive watches I have are ~$500, so I obviously can't compare it to anything higher-end, but if my watch means anything of the brand, Orient watches are in my good books. It also has a decent following online, it's price-to-quality ratio being key.
I'll post pics later when I get home, but if you're on the fence due to the brand, I'd say jump on it.
The only thing is the strap is a bit uncomfortable, but we'll see how that works out.

^No big deal. At that price point, it is usually the bracelet/straps that are horrible. Nothing a new one can't fix.

The strap is just super stiff, so I'm hoping a bit of wearing it conforms it to my skin. It's a deployant clasp, but strangely it's reversed...with the long tongue on the top of the watch. Apparently it's an Orient thing lol.
Any recommendations for a good selection of straps online for ~$30?

I might actually hold off on the Bambino and just save up for the Tissot Visodate. Really liking how it looks on the milanese bracelet Quote:
